COVID-19 : Watch businesses shift from offline to online

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to force retail outlets to close down. Consumers are asked to practice social distancing in order to stop the spread of coronavirus. It's starting to change the way people do business; exploring new ways of doing things. The things we thought could only be done in the retail sector, we could actually do it ourselves.

Some of the benefits would be passing the cost savings to end consumers. Physical establishment needs to factor prices, such as rental, labor and storage, all contribute to the overhead of the retail outlet, which generally tends to be higher compared to prices online. There are certainly other benefits of online shopping.

We make "complex" ideas easy to understand for everyone with our watch experts. Here are the things that you can do it yourself (DIY) to avoid going down to the watch repair shop.

Changing of Watch Straps

Changing the watch straps isn't as complicated as some people think. It's safe and easy to do. Once you have mastered the right technique, you can use it to change your watch straps more frequently. Not only does it change the overall look, but it also changes the feel of it.

Resizing / Refitting of Watch Bracelets

People tend to think that you need special tools to add/remove watch links when your watch bracelet or straps are too tight to loose. Technically, they are not wrong. The good news is that these so-called special tools are not expensive, they can even be replaced by household tools that are available.

Although it remains unclear to what extent it actually contributes to the spread of the virus, it is important for us as a community to be socially responsible.
